Computing technology is all around us in our everyday life. Now from the mobile phone that wakes us in the morning to the GPS system in the car, to the networking webpage we post photos on, and it is in use for everything from booking concert tickets to security your college place.
As well as learning how computers work, you will get an understanding of the technology behind things like computer games, mobile phones, the Internet and many other computing-based products that surround us.

The program aims to develop software Engineers who are technically-oriented and inventive. They find work in computing and electronics companies such as Microsoft, Intel, IBM, and many software companies. Some graduates also opt to start their own business.

Programming in 'C' Fundamentals of Computers Mathematical Foundation of Computer Science, Business Communication, Programming Fundamentals Data Structures and File organization, Advance Concepts of 'C' Programming, Financial Accounting Digital Electronics, Discrete Mathematical Structures, Data Communication and Computer Network, Database Management System, Object Oriented Programming using C++, Structures System Analysis and Design, Operating System Organization and UNIX, Multimedia Technology and Application, Software Engineering.
Computer Based Numerical and statistical Techniques, Optimization Techniques. Web Technology, Computer Graphics. Apart form these core areas, in the fifth and sixth semester, the students are expected to choose major and minor electives from subjects like Distributed Computing, E-governance, MIS, Micro-proccessor, JAVA programme, Network Security etc.
